Aims

Our pricing and payment process follows standard operating procedures that aim to keep our customers happy and confident about the way we conduct our business. Our pricing of services is based on objective and subjective assessments made by our qualified and experienced acoustical engineers/consultants. Where subjective assessments are applied, they will be applied impartially, according to the latest industry standards and guidance. Listening to and understanding our customers’ needs are the basis for providing our services and we follow a scientific, and independent approach when carrying out our services to inform and provide professional advice to our customers.

Our pricing and payment procedure incorporates several steps which are described below.

Pricing

  1. You provide us with an enquiry or request for quotation with a description of your project requirements.
  2. We assess the scope and scale of your requirements for our services, and we make due-diligence and feasibility checks including requesting relevant supporting information, as required, to provide you with an accurate Quotation for the services requested.
  3. You will receive a Quotation for the services, which is no-obligation and details any fixed price and/or ‘time and material’ elements. These elements will depend on the nature of the services. Any additional notes (such as applicable time limits, project-specific assumptions, invoice and payment schedule) will be provided on the Quotation.
  4. We may call or send a text message to confirm that you have received the Quotation.
  5. You may call us to discuss the Quotation.
  6. If you wish to accept the Quotation, please provide written confirmation to proceed by email including the name and address of the person/organisation who will settle the Invoice(s) for the services and Purchase Order number, if applicable.
  7. We will email the Invoice(s) only to the person responsible for payment and we will commence the services upon receiving payment according to the agreed payment schedule.
  8. In the event of changes in scope after the Quotation has been accepted, we shall send an additional Quotation reflecting the changes in scope of the project. This additional Quotation must be accepted and Invoice paid, if applicable, prior to us commencing work under the new scope. Any services already carried out prior to the change of scope remain chargeable in accordance with the accepted Quotation.

Payment

We accept bank transfers (Faster Payments/BACS) or cheques drawn on a UK bank (as cleared funds) to settle invoices.

We aim to ensure you are confident that:

  1. You are not charged for anything that is not expected.
  2. We keep a record of the correspondence to support your discussions with us.
  3. We honour the “Consumer Rights Act 2015”.
  4. Under late payment we apply “The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998”.
