By nature of our services in the field of acoustics, our professional opinions and advice are provided to safeguard the public interest in matters of safety, health and the environment.

Under this principle, any “work” produced is done for the sole use of the customer in accordance with an agreement under which our services are performed.

“Work” includes any materials such as, but not limited to, enquiries, sound measurement data, reports, documents, emails or other written or verbal account of services undertaken.

Where sound measurements are to be obtained on private property, permission and access must be agreed prior to entry, by the customer with the property owner and any tenants or leaseholders, as applicable.

We do not hand any work, or part thereof, that we have produced for any customer to another party without our customer’s written permission, or as requested by a Court Order, or as a requirement of a government regulatory authority.

Our collection of measurement data follows scientific principles of repeatability of methodology under the same experimental or investigative design, control and conditions.

Our work includes reporting of the methodology and analysis accounting for any factors identified that could introduce uncertainty or limit interpretation.

We do not give any warranty, expressed or implied, other than that which is provided with our work.

We do not accept liability for third parties' use or interpretation of our work.

We do not provide results or conclusions prior to the completed work to avoid bias, selectivity or speculation unless it fulfils the principles of scientific futility and the customer is fully aware of the reduced power of analysis.

Drafts of work will not be issued.

If additional information comes to light during or after work carried out, we reserve the right to revise our work and this may be subject to additional fees, where appropriate.

We reserve the right to amend and update this code of conduct at any time, to maintain our commitment to a comprehensive, objective and independent service.
